SATIMO Industries S.A. is a private company founded in 1986. The core activity concerns the development, the industrialisation and the commercialisation of antenna measurement systems based on multi-sensor technology. Since 2000, SATIMO is involved in the design, industrialisation and commercialisation of tools for the assessment of EMF exposure and SAR measurements.  The Headquarter of SATIMO is in Villebon-sur-Yvette, Paris, France with additional offices in Atlanta, Hong-Kong, Rome, Goteborg and Tokyo

Role & Activities in the project

Satimo is actively working on the wearable dosimeter design, efficient EMF measurement, and network interfaces. Satimo will be involved in WP2, WP3, and WP6. SATIMO is work package leaders for WP3, task leaders for T3.1 and editor of IR3.1.

SATIMO has been the leader of the Radio Project (2007-2008) supported by the Health & Radiofrequency Foundation. SATIMO also participated in the projects ADONIS (2003-2005) support by the French National Research Network in Telecommunication, Multipass (2008-2010 -  supported by the French National Research Agency, OP2H (2007–2009 - - supported by the French National Research Agency and SAMPER (2008–2011 - - supported by the French National Research Agency

Key people involved

Responsible for R&D projects for SATIMO Brittany. He received his Ph.D. in microwave electronics & Antennas at the University of Western Brittany in 2001. His main areas of interest are Antennas, RF circuit, EMF Probes, SAR measurement, integration technologies.

Nicolas DOARE
Sales Engineer at SATIMO Brittany. He worked as software engineer for EMF exposure measurement tools. He received his Master in Electronics from the University of Brest, France (2003).

Sylvie LE DALL
R&D engineer at SATIMO Brittany, Graduated from “Conservatoire national des arts et métiers de Brest”. She worked as software manager for the activity dedicated to the development of EMF exposure measurement tools and SAR measurement.

Matthieu LE HENAFF
R&D engineer at SATIMO Brittany, received his engineering degree from “Institut Supérieur de l’Electronique et du Numérique de Brest” in 2004. He’s actually in charge of the dosimeter’s development for SATIMO.

Shoaib Muhammad ANWAR
R&D engineer at SATIMO Brittany, received his PhD from “Institut d’Electronique et de Télécommunications de Rennes”, France in 2010. His main area of expertise is RF circuits and antennas.
